Thanks for the offer danson :) Unfortunately I had a brain fart when I made the post.. They're F4's they are very different to the F4's that I ride on already, must be an XC compared to DH model. Will re=fire this thread with some photos when I get a chance.

Have a a couple of forks here with short steerers, an f3 and an older steel set. Is it worth/possible getting an engineer to fabricate/remove and press in new steerers or am I best just throwing them back into the ether and waiting for another set with a longer steerer to come along?
