Is it possible to use a threaded 1 1/8'' steerer tube set of ridged forks with an a-head set as opposed to a quil stem & threaded head set?

    Project Parkpre 825 Pro

Just wondered if there was an update on your build? I have just sorted decals from Gilm for my Parkpre Team 925. Once they arrive I will start stripping it down & start my own build thread. In the mean time, looking for some inspiration from your 825 Pro build.

    Project Parkpre 825 Pro

Great bikes Parkpre, will be following this build with interest. I built a Parkpre Comp Limited up from frame only. I went Shimano DX all the way. Great bike to ride. However I have recently picked up a Team 925 which is almost complete (RST Mozo forks). Trouble is the TI frame coat has tiny...

RST Mozo Pro W front shocks.........help!

What are 'MCU's'? These forks compress but there is absolutly no rebound, so they stay compressed. From your response it soulds like it might be just the rubber o-rings. Are these easy to come by? Thanks for the response though I maybe taking you up on your kind offer.... I live very close the...

    the full suspension trek thread

My first ever retro bike build....... Trek Y3 - I built her up how I wanted (non-original) but I had the powder coat combo I wanted & the parts I wanted, don't think I'll ever get rid of this one. You don't see many around these days so thought I had to add to this thread.

RST Mozo Pro W front shocks.........help!

I have a set of the above shocks on a bike I picked up yesterday, I think they look the biz & from what I can gather, back in the day they weren't a bad shock. However............ The above two pictures show you what they look like.... The problem is there is no rebound at all, this is a...

Parkpre Team 925 - TI finish.....what to do?

Today I picked up a pretty original Parkpre Team 925 which I intend to refurb over time. However the frame is steel that has been TI platted but there are little rust spots all over the frame. The trouble is wire wool will remove the TI platting taking the frame back to steel & the metal polish...

    State of the collection............

Swapped out the rear cassette on the Parkpre last night for a 7 speed, 12 / 32T. I had put a new chain on in the build but did not replace the cassette as I was not sure how worn it was. Transpires I was getting a little chain slip in a couple of the middle gears. A quick ride around the garden...

    State of the collection............

I have been a member on Retrobike for just over 2 years now & I thought it was about time I reviewed my builds. It was seeing all these fantastic builds on this forum that that got me wanting to have a go myself. I have never been one for 'factory correct' but then again none of my bikes are of...

    Sizing a bottom bracket.......

It is actually a steel frame, but I think I will go for the 113 anyway as just seems to me like the safer option. Thanks for your responses though, it's much appreciated.

    Sizing a bottom bracket.......

Seat post is a 26.6 so would you still go with a 113 or would a 110 make a neater job? The seat post clamp is a 30.6mm btw.
