I don't think that's a good idea :) Postage to the UK from Hungary and vice versa can be a bit... not too reasonably priced :)

Bought Record Titanium 8speed levers for 50 GBP a year ago. Also, you can get 10speed Record shifters for 111-120 euros on ebay. I'm not poor, neither cheap, I just don't think these shifters worth it. :P

Hello :) I know that second gen 9speed levers (with the round hoods, V2, manufactured from 1998.) can be converted to 10 speed. BUT, can they accept 8speed ratchet ring as well? I have 8speed setup currently with new cassette-chain, etc, but ran into a bdget offer for old 9speed daytona...
