    Hi, thanks for getting back to me. Yes its going to be used for days out with my lad and also a commuter. I think a silver stem will look best too, ill check those out the seat needs to go asap might nip amd get one from halfords tomorrow. 👍

    Just bought this. Its not quite as retro as id like but it will do, as it was cheap which keeps the wife happy 😉 The only thing im not keen on is the stem and seat. Any suggestions for a better looking stem and seat would be appreciated.

    Im 5ft10 the Saracen is 18" and the Hardrock is 19" i think either will be fine.

    I think im going for the Hardrock as its cheap and i can then change the seat for something a bit more apealing. May look at swapping other parts down the line but enjoy riding it over the summer

    The Saracen is £75. Ive seen a nice Specialized Hardrock with v-brakes and aluminium frame for £45, i think its low spec though. What do you think about that compared to the Saracen.

    Thats intresting i thought the Trek was older. The Trek also has grip shifts which im not sure about. The seller says its all working fine
