I know nearly nothing about this CR-7 that showed up at the Spooky factory today, other than I need to build a replica of it for a customer. Looks like it must be a 91 or '92 based on the push-push Xt on it, and it reminds me of an old Mantis. Did any of these obviously poorly designed...

There shoulda been a shim in the box? 30.2-27.2mm CRC should have it for less than 5p. It's a Spooky Bandwagon... The only frame we don't make in house. US retail is under $400 (The Chinese still make tons of money!) Lee can sell you one!

Pretty sure those were made by Profile Racing about the same time GT was private labeling the Profile race chromo arms. We had a profile Sponsorhship around the same time, and I seem to recall my aluminum profiles looking exactly like that.

I don't do model name stickers any more... I have old Diecut Darkside stickes, but only in black... and well, they won't stick too well at all...

It is an unfortunate truth that bent downtubes are actually pretty swell. Not only do they give clearance for all these super wide works that are on the market now, they are actually considerably stronger. Like 20% or so.

RB'ers, I recently contacted SDG looking for NOS full-kevlar Slim Jims or S2000ti's They don't have any, but did say that they could break out the patterns and make some new ones for me, if I ordered a large-ish quantity. How many other people besides me really miss those two...
