    Advice wanted: Quill stem bolt for 1993 Kona velocity stem-Cinder cone restoratiom

    Thank you Jon and Dr Dremel. I concur that the stem bolt must be very short, I figured 80-100mm based on my measurements, but this didn’t seem to match 92 or 94 stem bolts. Your advice is gratefully received. Thanks for taking the time to help me, Best wishes, Stuart

    Convert 7speed Campagnolo to Compact

    Is it possible to cost effectively convert a 1982 7speed Campagnolo bike to a compact- 50/34, 12-28 or am I biting off more than I can chew. My friend has asked me if he can convert his old Pennine 531 Audax bike, but he wants to keep it Campagnolo with downtube shifters if possible. Thanks...
