hi, its unusual isnt it.i thought serotta as some of these did have fastback stays but the extended seat post clamp is a bit of a puzzle ? because it is on some moser leader's as well as a quill seat post type.head tube looks fillet brazed. the paint and decals look authentic. kevin t' gerbil

dyna ti' press is a good idea .i was thinking loads of washers to inner surfaces.theres even a large square washer from timber building there. the last guy who fitted me a headset i watched him.he used loctite on cups and crown race. there are 2 bike shops near me and i would not trust them...

really neat.you thought outside of the box. the wheel rim id stickers on this build do work and enhance the bikes id by the inner ring looks like you got some hills when you do get a chance to take her for a spin,be good to see some pics of the nz scenery. have a nice xmas...kevin gerbil

hi, personally i would try most of these methods in order[inc from previous post's; solution of transmission fluid and upvc solvent/acetone overnite.] it makes sense to try out the least damage to post and frame first.that hacksaw blade holder/tool has got to be cheap and widely available also.
