Would be very difficult to replicate. I've seen ones where the pedal has been repainted but it never quite looks right. Think it would be very hard to do by hand. Maybe a clear sticker with the text on it? I did see a post somewhere, where someone had repainted the Deore text on a hub using...

Hard to say without seeing them. Are the bolts at the bottom of the legs still attached? Is the rebound spring still attached. I would take the inner legs out, clean everything up and try reassemble to see if that helps.

For sale, my Syncros Seatpost which I believe is 3rd gen. It's 29.4mm dia so ideal for a Pace RC200 or a Fat Chance. It's 330mm long. Good usable condition, some wear and marks but nothing too bad. Wear to logos as can be seen in the photos. £40 posted in the UK? Overseas we can discuss...

Re: Nice find. You did well for that price too. I've a 95 or 96 P7 that I built and rebuilt a number of times. Can never seem to settle on what I want to do with it. It's now on rigid forks and road tyres for commuting use. I had it single speed last year but couldn't get on with it.

I have one that I've had from new. It's certainly strong, taken loads of abuse over the years. I've heard about the tubes unsticking from the head tubes but any that are left have survived this long. Weight, no idea what mine is, it certainly isn't superlight! I like the way mine rides but...
