I have a pair of red Mavic CXP 33 in good condition that have been sitting doing nowt for a few years.

Tams bought a Salsa Vaya frameset off me. Good communication prior to meeting and a pleasure to deal with. We even went for a walk around the local hills, vey enjoyable company. I have no hesitation in giving a vote of confidence to anybody dealing with @The_Tams Kevin.

A month is a reasonable amount of time for him to at least get in touch with you again, even if he can't pick it up (or whatever arrangement he makes) within that time. If he hasn't made contact - don't keep chasing him - then sell it to the local guy.

I've only just seen this and would agree with @fettler in post #11: because the head is off, there won't be any tension on the stud that is remaining so it may - hopefully - spin out fairly easily. Try to holding a fine-pointed tool (scriber etc, even a nail might work) as close as possible to...

Hi Colin, I bought a 1997 Galaxy a few weeks ago, I am 99% sure that it is a 1" headset, I can go and have a look at mine and try and confirm. The stem is 22.2mm, I don't know if this indicates that the headset is 1". All I can tell you with BBs is that I replaced mine - original triple...
