    There shouldn’t be a gap, but nothing seems to be missing. That is just how much the old ones have degraded and compressed by.

    Magura HS 33 question

    You would not be able to anodize them or powder coat them. The actual piston, spring and seals are permanently fitted into the main body. They would be destroyed by the anodizing or powder coating process. Careful stripping and spray painting is the only way.

    Looks to be the standard English threaded, 73mm body 123mm axle. I cant see any issues.

    Yes, rebuilt lots of wheels this period. Had many wheels which were built as and when and replaced parts as needed, so I actually had very few matching pairs of wheels. I’ve been dismantling wheels to replace 217 rims with 217 ceramic rims. Built some NOS nuke proof hubs into 217 rims...
