Thanks for all the suggestions, have plenty of options to look at. I did have a look to see what the original spec would have been, but was only available as a bare frame and forks, so I can choose anything.

The best bet would be to use an intact hood to create a mold rather than scan it. Then use the mold to cast a silicone or rubber part. There is someone on here that is doing this for Onza porcipaw grips and other plastic parts, but i can remember their name.

Gwr fasteners on eBay. Coloured alloy or coloured stainless steel. Probably button head Allen will be fine. Massive choice of sizes and will ship tiny orders of single bolts (or maybe 5 packs depending on bolts)
