i would'nt be bothered if brakes matched or not, i also would'nt bothered if levers were different as long as it stops thats all that matters! what about some trials bikes were they run magura's on the rear and v-brakes on the front? :)

this is my giant atx 2 when i brought it of ebay a few weeks ago, i have since replaced the shock for a fox vanilla coil shock which makes it so much easier to ride!! :)

don't know hub make, my fronts hope hub in black but rear has no logo etc, but is same colour grey as my mavic d321 rims, looks like shimano or something?

won't the 500lb spring be softer than my 650lb spring, if anything i would prefer the shock stiffer.

managed to get a fox vanilla r shock 190mm i2i, with a 650lb spring on it. its completely transformed the ride quality, thanks again for you help.

i don't know what make they are the stickers on the top of the fork legs say PRO FORX UD 150 DH. they have a 20mm front axle.

ok i think i can see the valve were you would pump it up its just behind the suspension linkage so it means i would have to take the shock off to do it!!! :o i will send you a full picture of bike. :wink:

the thing is the shock has no spring its a sealed air unit!?! i've looked at pictures of vanilla shock on google etc and they all have springs!
