And cheers to you, too, Pip 8) Do you have a backstory on why a few of those 1998s were 2/3 painted in fluoro? The guy I bought mine from said they were used at Sea Otter (or maybe another industry show) and they were painted to make them more difficult to steal. Which one do you have...

Appreciate all you do here, Pip. Was happy to see my 1998 Hei Hei on your list (KH 18047). The Hei Hei for sale is almost within driving distance (11 hours round trip). I don't need another Hei Hei or another 1993 frame...but it's tempting.

if you can show a pic from behind of the upper part of the legs, that's the major tell for the difference between a 1992 Mag 20 and a 1993 Mag 21... it's the degree of taper at about 1 or 2 inches down on the gold leg.

Re: that's the 1999 version with ti-bonded seat stays. they come undone. there's a 1998 for sale on one of the facebook pages. much more desirable to have a welded frame, imho. I think the 1998 is going for $1500?

Re: sorry - haven't seen this one until now. I DMed the seller. He still claims it's titanium despite all evidence to the contrary. From the description, it seems he doesn't know much about bikes.

Re: by 'reinforcing sleeve' do you mean the drive side DH cup version. It was intended to work with chain guides. I have one I'm not using, if that's the case.
