I would change out the rotors you are using for better braking. There is not enough metal for friction and use 185mm on the front. You will be amazed at the difference a bigger rotor makes.

Klein is known for their paint. They would spend $1500.00 per gallon on some paints, not sure if this is one of them.

This is a very rare 2000 Titus custom. Sorry to say you would be hard pressed to find one, it may even be one of one no serial number.

I found longer travel works better because one of the characteristics of this bike was for it to stink bug. Kind of scary on steep declines. The longer fork gets the nose up. Suspension shock design has also greatly improved with the addition of air adjusting to stiffen the ride. As you stated...

New hoops. The Bontrager hoops going to another build. I couldn't pass these up, I actually bought three pair for under $400. Nashbar closeout sale. You can never have to many wheelset's :D

I have owned several of these and currently own two. What I have done is replace the rear shock with a Fox CTD (Climb- Trail-Desent) with remote lockout and put longer travel forks on the front. This greatly improves the performance of these bikes. Here is my current Mantra project...

Yes another project. This makes 5 ongoing :facepalm: I purchased this as a parts bike. It had Fox front Sus that I installed on my Klein Mantra and some other tasty parts I used for other builds. I bought it at a very reasonable price. I will be building this for the brother in law who is...
