To Take 700c wheels. Any vintage, just need something to clock up some miles and have been given an early 90's 105 groupset inc wheels, just have nothing to hang it on.
Anything interesting considered,
Many thanks, chris
Looking for something to hang my road bits from. i have been given a full set of late 80's 105 stuff so i'm now lloking to buy a frame to plop them on. Does anyone have anything from that period? or a bit later? I'd be interested in alu or steel though I prefer steel. Anything?
Many thanks...
i'm not sure of the year at all. thought it was a '95 but could be earlier. Frame number included for those in the know. (i'm not)
It's a direct drive model and compared to other frames i have, very light.
18" frame with 1 1/8" headtube. In sound physical condition but could do with a respray. I wanted to paint it red and kit it out creectly for it's period but i have no time and no budget. Looking for £50 plus post.
Pictures available. Paypal accepted
Thanks, chris
Thanks for that. I wonder if it is a cindercone after all? I can only find pictures of these with u-brakes.
Time to get my holmes hat on.
thanks again, chris
I know they made these in their thousands but i can't work out from the pictures which model or year my frame is. It's been resprayed white so i'm not sure where to look. I think its a 1991 cindercone but couldn't be sure.
It has 1h050 stamped on the bb shell and also F9045561, has a 1"...
As above, something from around 1993 - 97 and 18" steel pref.
just after something to build through the winter and ride in the summer.
many thanks, chris
After something oldish to build up with some parts i have lying around.
Prefer lugs but then who doesn't? any condition bar broken, i can handle rust. Let me know what's around.
many thanks, chris
Thought the site might be a mine of knowledge and cool pictures (and it is!)
Guess i'm quite young but i first lusted after a Gold kona cindercone of a bout '94 vintage, had a pot to put my cash in but never had enough for one. Instead i bought a raleigh from the local village summer fair...
