    The manitou's I have fitted at the mo are Mach 5's. I was thinking the bike shop was basically rodding me off when they said they're too old to service. Surely anything of any age can be serviced? I will take your advice and sort them myself, going to google it very shortly :) besides it will...

    Thanks all for the comments. I'm going to find my self a set of pace by the looks of it :) and dossa, I was looking at some of your posts last night and my frame is same one as yours I think but with original capital letters. I'm wondering if I could polish mine to the same standard as yours...

    Will this fit any pace forks? I was under the impression most pre '96 forks were 1" steerer/headset? Does the length of stem also matter? Sorry for all the questions
