    It's the same thing, the crank axle is rotating clockwise (drive side) so the cup is pushed anti-clockwise tightening it in the frame. 'aint physics brilliant!

    The pedal is rotating anti-clockwise on it's axle, turning the thread clockwise (on drive side) It sounds wrong, but it does work :?

    Removing cassette - advice needed

    Hold the cassette with the whip and turn the lockring anti-clockwise with the spline tool. I found it easier to put the spline tool in the vice and use the wheel as leverage holding the whip against a spoke.
