    Watch the weather today.

To be fair I think the housing on flood planes is the least likely to be flooded (I live in a very flat area close to the river Witham) it's the small valleys etc that get these flash floods as they are the only route for a huge downfall. In Lincoln it is currently not raining and the BBC...

    Shoes shorts or top?

Sports Direct also do cheap Muddy Fox gear. £10 for shorts and jerseys, and less than £20 for SPD shoes. Clearly they are not going to be the greatest quality but do what's needed.

Bicyclemania 2012 (War of the Wolds) Sunday 27th May

I didn't ride in the end. I'd been away all week with work, working very long hours with very little sleep all week, so needed some rest. My usual riding buddy did the 40 miler in 4hrs, including a puncture stop. No way I'd have kept with them anyway

    Retro Telephone

Cool! 8) It must be really frustrating to use though now we're all used to push button, saved numbers and speed dial. It needs one of those ridiculously long leads so you can walk around the kitchen with it.

    Strava

It's also worth putting in a few postcodes near you set at different distances, that way there is no odvious centre point if you go off in all directions from your home. I have also noted that things like the calorie usage figures are different on the Garmin and Strava, but put that down to...
