Nitromors paint stripper is the biz, get it in any B&Q etc ... Wire wool is great for bringing back the shine on dull alloy parts :)

New tyres ... Got some nice new Panaracer Smoke & Dart tyres ... Also waiting for some NOS DX canti's, Marin Lite stem & seatpost clap and some nice Manitou 1's which I still need to get a longer steerer for - also got flat bars & XT pedals on the way ... Starting to come together...

As title ... I'm restoring an old Marin Pine Mountain, I dont have much experience with threaded headsets/forks, the steerer tube on the frame is exactly 150mm. I have a HP-M736 XT threaded headset and according to the manual the overall stack height is H + 33.5mm (H being headtube length)...

I'm after some old forks for my Marin retro build ... Manitou 1/2/3 or similar, must be 1,1/8th inch & have a steerer no less than 170mm Anyone?

As title, I may be able to get 20 sets of BRAND NEW Guidon SAKAE TI Powerbulge flat bars, would be worth doing if they were worth a decent amount ... Also what about BRAND new 92 Marin Eldridge Grade frames in 19 inch, could possibly have found a supply of them... What ya think? :?: :?:

Just a quick update! Spent a few hours today stripping all the old paint and sanding off the entire frame with wet & dry to get rid of all the rust in prep for going to get powder coated next week:D Took AGES but I think the work will be worth it in the end! Also cleaned yup the...
