I've not got that, but I've got the '94 edition that helped me decide to buy my 755Ti

Lemond Ti & Carbon (calfee) review july 1992 Bicycling

Tim, I've found it. And, apart from a bit of 'yellowing' of the paper it's in good condition (with even the subsricption inserts in place)

Low-end Bianchi - what to do?

Damn! If it had been a 53/54 c-c, I'd have made you an offer on it, & even picked it up

    Pace RC100 timeline

I'd like one, but can't justify one at the moment (not with fancying a new carbon road-bike, perhaps another Ridley?) That said, I'd also like a Ducati 916/998, & an Aston-Martin V8 (to supercede the XKR) Thanks for that, 'H v C' is always fun I know, & I'd be lying if I said I enjoyed it...

    Pace RC100 timeline

Rich, thanks for the comments. There's a fair chance that I'll see some of them (if not all??) next Saturday at the 'Harriers verses Cyclists' Fell-Race in Bingley http://www.bingleyharriers.co.uk/html/h ... ts/hvc.htm The winners have included Rob Jebb & Alistair Brownlee (both...

Lemond Ti & Carbon (calfee) review july 1992 Bicycling

I'll have to double-check, but I'm 90% certain that it's still there, with a few other old copies of that & 'Mountain Bike Action'

Tim Gould's Team Peugeot Roberts White Spider

Just read this thread, & very interesting it is too! Harry Gould (their dad) & Julian are still involved with Matlock CC, & I'm sure that Tim was mentioned on their website as being active too! http://matlock.mybikeclub.co.uk/ I don't know Tim, but like others I have spoken to him...

    1960 cyclo cross North East

When the 'Jonathon Noble Memorial Cyclo-Cross' at Temple Newsam used to be run at the eastern side of the house (between the farm & Bullerthorpe Lane), it used to cross a little stream that ran from the ornamental lake I also think that the cross at 'Oakwell Hall' (Batley) used to traverse...

    Roger Hammond World cross bike

Thanks. My scanner's playing up, so I couldn't scan my copy I've also still got the programme & poster (sure there's a cap & t-shirt somewhere hiding in a drawer, or old suitcase??)

I had #0169 back in the early 90's My Bullseye cranks also worked loose on (practically weekly) occasions  They were a good idea, but flawed by the lack of lateral 'locking' There's a few old pics of mine on the 'Retro-Pace' site S'funny I've been thinking about mine...

    Roger Hammond World cross bike

It was indeed an Orbit, one of which was finished in bright pink, now whether all of his bikes were pink I have no idea? I was there, & also still have the 'Cycling Weekly' with him on the cover. He used bar-end shifters, no STI for him Can't tell if they were 653, or 753 though as the...

    1992 World Cyclo-Cross Championships

Following on from Pauls ('Old Ned') 'Leeds Classic' thread.. Were any other forumites at the 'World Cyclo-Cross Championships' when they were held in Roundhay Park, Leeds?? (1st/2nd February) (or indeed the 'Nations Cup' that was run on the same course, on 23rd November 1991) This...

    Leeds Classic 1992

Weren't Peter Milsom & Terry Haigh (Barnsley RC??) quite highly involved in the planning/organising of the event (& the 'Nations Cup' too??)

    Leeds Classic 1992

There's some nice shots there Paul! :D I would have been there too! I've got some prints myself somewhere that were taken up at the Hotel in Trevelyan Square (94??, was it a Mariott??), & up at Lawnswood when they stopped up there (93??) Eddy Merckx was in attendance!!!, to lend his...

    Cyclocrosser choice

Throwing more into the mix, what about a 'Planet X'?? http://www.planet-x-bikes.co.uk/bikes/q/cyclocross Or, indeed a Ridley?? http://www.ridley-bikes.com/pl/ee/en-gb/4/cyclocross I see both of these at every race, & I'd like one!!! Mindst you, once 'Clifton CC' (a York based club)...

    Cyclocrosser choice

You may as well get a 'tourer' if you're just using it as a winter-bike!! Some cross frames don't even have mud-guard mounts, & if it's a winter bike, you need mudguards!!! Plus, if you do get a cross-bike, you've just got to race it!!!
