    Cracked GT Frame

Bad Times! The MBUK Zaskar is somewhat out of service. I'd not been riding it much anyway of late as I've got back in to road riding, and had thought about maybe selling up. I took it outside for a proper wash this morning to make a decision as to whether to keep it or not, and as I was...

    Lotus

I've had two Elises, an S1 111S and an S2 Racetech, both with the K Series engine. I really regret selling the S1, it was like new. It only had 7000 miles on it when I got it, and had 14k on it when I sold it. As the mileage was so low, I was foolishly paranoid about every mile I did. I...

Klein Adroit frame Size M *SOLD*

Yeah, wanting to build something as it would have been BITD, so I'm looking for a complete fuselage or bike really. Sure you don't have any more parts?

    Hard drive recovery

I use FileSalvage from SubRosaSoft. It's not free but works great. It's a bootable DVD so you can restore even if you can't boot anymore. I might be able to sort you out an iso image if you send me a PM

    The MBUK Zaskar

No I didn't, I've actually been using it quite a lot. It's the road bike that's fallen into disuse now instead! I've replaced the riser bars with some straights and bar ends and I find it more comfortable to ride. Go to any trail centre with it and people know what it is though, you get a...

    The MBUK Zaskar

That is correct, they're (alllegedly) one offs. The hubs have MBUK 20th Anniversary etched in to them as do the brake levers and calipers. I'm actually in a bit of a quandry with the bike at the moment. I use the road bike far more and don't have enough space in my apartment for all the...

    The MBUK Zaskar

Yep, it was built to be ridden. In fact, it bought me in to work this morning and got the usual amount of envious looks from schoolkids along the way 8)

    The MBUK Zaskar

Hahaha, well they're sat doing nothing so I'll think about it. I didn't buy the bike as a garage queen, what's the point in having it if it's not going to be used, unique though it is? In all honesty I'll never use the tyres though... Now, if you can find me a nice, medium Attitude in green...

    The MBUK Zaskar

Hello all, I own the MBUK Zaskar and thought you might like to see it :) Here's the stuff that came with it, some more decals for a colour change, a mint copy of the mag, and the certificate. ...and here it was when it lived in the shed looking...

    2008 Re-issue Zaskars

Thanks for the welcome. I've never ridden an original Zaskar so can't compare it but it's something I'd like to do. The MBUK build is a nice one, I've not messed with it too much yet other than swapping the brake hoses for braided ones which was a necessity as the front one was kinked. The...

The Introduce Yourself Here Thread III

Hello, I've just registered today as well as there was a post about my bike. I've been lurking for a while though! I used to do a lot of riding and racing BITD, and did the MyCycles Malvern Hills Classic back in the early days. I then found cars, girls and all the other distractions life...

    2008 Re-issue Zaskars

Better introduce myself then 8) I've been lurking here for a while. I now own the MBUK Zaskar, I bought it direct off the lad who won it in the competition as it didn't sell on ebay. It's a nice bike and I'm using it which is what it deserves IMO, the only problem with it is that it does...
