    claud butler

I think Claud Butler has an impressive history, back in the day (and I mean before the dawn of the mountain bike) I understand that it was quite a well respected brand. Now I think they are part of the universal cycles group or something. Gotta say some of there starter road bikes are pretty...

1996 Marin Team Titanium (started as a '99 Team Ti frame)

Hi Benandemu, Thats what I meant in my post above about the placement of the cable stops on the head tube - from the look of the 1995 Marin catalogue it was the Ultimate that had them on the head tube and the Team Ti on the downtube. I will try and get a scan done to show you!

    1998 LeMond Tourmalet

Thanks hibernian, he is in fairly good nick, there are the tell tale signs of wear under the cable where they rub on the frame and a couple of small bits. At the end of the day if its too perfect it means you aint been riding it enough! John is still the main man at Cheltenham Cycles...

    1998 LeMond Tourmalet

Right, about time I showed my road bike here too! Back in 1998 it was time to dabble in the dark art of the road. Cheltenham Cycles came up trumps from all the bikes I looked at with the LeMond Tourmalet. Triple chainring for my mtb used legs was a perfect start, and I really bought into...

1996 Marin Team Titanium (started as a '99 Team Ti frame)

Cheers mate! Just checked it out and gonna keep an eye on it!! What do you guys think is a fair price for one? Also, Benandemu, just noticed your headtube does not have the cable bosses welded on to it like the Team Marin (I really like that idea, as on the downtube they rub on the...

1996 Marin Team Titanium (started as a '99 Team Ti frame)

Dude, I love that bike! 95 is my fave Marin year, and I do like my Marins having a well loved 96 Pine Mountain, following a 95 Palisades Trail. Cant wait to see him with the decals too. Dont suppose you know anyone with a 19" Team Ti frame?!
