Am I boring you yet? 2006 Dekerf SST re-revisited

Not bored, but I must admit I was secretly hoping you would break on buying Mikkel's Kish and put this beautiful frame and fork up for sale ;)

    2006 Dekerf SST revisited

Never tried a Mary but my Voodoo has Ragley Carnegie Alt bars on it. They are actually negative rise but I've sinced flipped them round to +ve rise. Only difference is the logos are now upside down. I do not find the Ragley's cheesey myself...

15th Anniversary (1996) Rocky Mountain Blizzard

I have V's on my '96 as well, pretty much for the same reasons listed above. You could always saw off the canti bridge but that would really be sacrilege!

15th Anniversary (1996) Rocky Mountain Blizzard

The paint may not be that flash but is definitely in better condition than mine. If this is a mish mash I hope my single speed commuter does not offend the retrobike massif....

    Rocky Mountain Blizzard 1996

This has now been tidied up and built with my single speed kit from my previous elevated chain stay commuter and a salsa fork. I suspect the plate was added after the seat post was out too far and there may have been some cracking. Seems strong enough so far and I am running a 400mm post well...

    Dialled Alpine SS

I guess what we all need to remember is if you have have 2 (n) +1 (almost built) bikes you still get to ride. Generally builds go faster in Winter when there is less riding to be done. However I believe this did start in Winter, so perhaps the pub or insert winter sport interfered.

    A single speed

I like singlespeeds and I cannot lie! Tintin I though you'd have had as much of an issue with the suspension fork, which is the part I am not a fan of ;)

    Rocky Mountain Blizzard 1996

Ok both dropouts are within 1mm of each other after my measure using the string from headtube to dropout method and measuring at the seat tube. The plate between the seat tube and top tube has been brazed not welded. It looks ok to me, not super tidy but no obvious pinholes or cracks where I...

    Kish titanium singlespeed

I do like this Kish, though did agree that some of the powder coat should have been left ;) Also out of interest what is your Sycip fork on in the background?

    Rocky Mountain Blizzard 1996

Ok, I can confirm this is a 19.5 bike. Very low standover and slightly longer than my normal commuter an unknown 18 inch e-stay and modern Voodoo D-jab in 18. So it looks like I will not be using the long Ikon stem from the e-stay. There is in fact a welded plate between the top tube and...
