Might interest those who repair, mend, adapt steel frames. The rods most likely need an oxy acetylene flame. My MAPP flame is insufficient: one rod has the flux off the ends removed from unsuccessful attempts. Collect from Newport S Wales or have it posted for 96p (large letter 2nd RM).
