I'm taking a few lads around the loop we did last April this weekend. Will be wet as heck but that is what it is all about.
Count me in, baby permitting.
If duty gets the better of you - I'm in Reading and have not heard any nightmare stories about those routes. Main highways are fairly clear.
If you really don't want to go - we've loads of snow and the roads are covered, essential journies only.

Slight hijack.
I have a pair of these about to come off the SS as the spring is too light for me (85kg). Fork is in good nick and has the lock-out and both brake mounts. Steerer is 190mm. There is a small amount of play in the bushing.
If we weren't paying coppers vast lump sums at the end of their period of service and similarly huge pensions for the last 40 years of their lives maybe we could have more police officers with cars devoid of commercial branding.
I'd wager that if we were to pick one we'd all adjust within a season and then I'd not set the alarm for the wrong time on a Sunday twice a year. There is no justifiable getting-the-harvest-in/school-bus-crash/war-time-blackout reason for all the faff.
In Reading we used to have IntenseFM who seemed very pirate and very hardcore in their music. It was amazing. Then, one day, they were not there any more and life was a little more disappointing.
On the 'Thought for the day' topic - WTF is that all about? I listen to R4 at breakfast and R2...
I like the trainers which use rider weight to hold the bike on the trainer. They reduce the pressure on the tyre so you do not get excessive resistance and tyre wear. Also a doddle to pop the bike in and out.

Frames get painted to preserve the metal so why bother with Ti.? It adds weight and looks scruffy after a while. Have you considered painting the components instead if the bike needs brightening up? I bet you haven't because needlessly painting stuff is wasteful and the chemicals used in...
Baby is due this week and we got a cupboard, changing unit, buggy, bouncy seats, more clothes than you can shake a stick at and loads of toys. Freecycle does, indeed, rule!
The guys attitude toward the buyer is pretty weak and their Twitter page does seem to reflect that the comment is getting a lot of negative feedback.
That said 'sold as seen' is surely sales speak for fubar'ed? I'd not touch a bike part sold as seen unless I wanted it for a door stop.
