Re: UPDATE on closer inspection of frame stamps etc, its a Ruption Newboy, stickered up as a HARO. So... same still applies!?... Ruption Newboys?! what where why how?! any good?!

Re: yeh fingers crossed - going to go and give it a clean up now...someones put purple paint on the rear dropouts but it seems ot come off with a bit of gentle wire wooling! paint seems original - if its been resprayed then someone went to a lot of expense and time if not! should be fun anyway!!

So... I've stripped my delta v back to metal... But, what now? Would you... Polish it? And if so, how, and would u lacquer it? Paint it,... I've got a compressor, so self done Powder coat it... There's a local place, but fear may be more than the bikes worth!? Anyone any idea of costs ...

more help please!! Ive got the frame stripped - wondering about polishing it and laquering - but, more immediate issues... the headset cups - ones foobard it sems...and im struggling on a replacement...cant see anything on qwerty cycles... i think these are fatty ones? ive attached a piccy -...

ta - i think ill just replace the 2 headset bearings for now and see how it seems!

yep looks like just the headset, but the shock does seem to bounce like zebedee! Ill live with that bit for now though as I will only be pootling on it, and it sounds like Ill break it if I mess with it!...

ta - just been doing a bit of quick reading - sounds like these things are abugger and best converted to standard shock forks, but, I want to retain the headshock for originality and, something different... i know hey aint much cop but its only going to be a leisure ride... the worry is ill...

Re: hi yeh there seems to be a damaged plastic seal, then loose bearings spilling out at the top. There is a type of clamp to around the top and bottom. Bearings look about 3-4mm but not measured yet
