    Hub spacing question

hubs This is an alu bonded frame and its maybe best not to. I've done a couple of hubs for guys wanting to run 10sp in 126mm frames and there are plenty available that you can do a DIY fix on the non-drive side allowing enough dish to give a decent enough strength in the wheel. American...

    peugeot premiere ....

pug Result! Thats looking great. Forget the fixie idea - get an old banger if you want to do that. I would go for some NOS Benotto handlebar tape, a decent seatpin and a classic saddle that suits you and you've got a cracker there. :D

Let's see those retro road bikes

Colnago Not sure if this is retro yet, although given the price that 1st edition Campag Record 10sp stuff is going for I expect it is. Its a Master X Light with 2000 Record group and special edition Mavic SSC ceramic clincher rims from 1999. The stem is a Cinelli XA, seatpost Record alloy and...

    22" Vittoria Juniores Tubs / sew-ups + rim sizes

tubs Well, I've seen 20" and 24" at the suppliers - Vittoria juniors and Conti Olympic 24" but no 22" in either tub or tyre. Not even inner-tubes that size! What kind of bike is it? Will it take 24" wheels?

tubs I had a pair of these Schwalbes that were still rideable after 10 years of monthly runs. The cotton starts to unravel but the tread was still true and intact. Enjoy.

1" threaded Colnago straight steel fork.

fork I got that one off feebay after putting in an offer. It was expensive but still strange how theres not many folk after them seeing that they no longer do a threaded fork now. Anyway, it will be perfect for the Cinelli Record stem. Went for a Stronglight headset as Campag threaded are far...

1" threaded Colnago straight steel fork.

fork Thanks, I've been watching it and waiting until I have enough in my PayPal account. Its a Kings ransom but got to be better than this carbon thing I'm using. Ahead doesn't belong on a 1" steel frame! Cheers!

    1" Ahead to threaded conversion

Fork conversion Hey fatfixie, the headtube is 160mm. Cheers. :)

    1" Ahead to threaded conversion

fork Yes, silly me - I've edited it. Anyway, the fork I have is a full carbon job so that would be impossible.

    1" Ahead to threaded conversion

fork Nice one! I'll wait until I get home and let you know. Its a 60cm Master X Light. Cheers!

    1" Ahead to threaded conversion

Can this be done or is a new fork required? The ahead stem is cramping my style and I have a new Cinelli quill to use. Anybody want to swap a Colnago 1" Force carbon fork I have for a chrome Precisa? :)

(Colnago Master: Help, please!) Problem solved!?

Master I think the last answer is probably the most plausible. The only thing stoppping it from standing out as a Mexico frame is the paintjob/transfers. The paint looks a bit thick round the head tube lugs and this is not indicative of Colnago finishes. Also, as you say - why would someone...
