    2000 marzocchi bomber z1 x-fly

i have a set of these and they are amazing, there going to be 2001 though and there isnt compression damping, just air preload and rebound. They feel like a downhill fork and certainly inspire confidence!

ive been speaking to my local boffins and theyre also baffled, it has a 25.4 seat tube diameter suggesting cheapo, but butted tubes suggesting 531 front end. the chainstays length i have no idea about i was astonished when i built it and compared it with other road frames of a similar era, i...

Please someone identify this! Raleigh 653 frame and fork.

il get the frame number tonight, the cable routing is steel lugged above the bottom bracket. Its shown in the picture above. Usually find this upto early/mid 80s. Also mentioned was the raleigh 71mm x 26tpi bottom bracket thread. This would suggest late 70s early 80s as after this period english...

Shocks and shock bolts wont ever...

Not too old but retrobike needs more DH, GIANT ATX 990/900

sounds absolutely awesome! mine doesnt have disc mounts, and has the stupid goldtech plates, im probably going to make my own, giving it 3.5inchs and run a more modern z1 x-fly 80mm fork upfront, as a tough xc bike as i feel im smooth enough to short travel as im usually a rigid rider.
