    USE seatpost

25.8mm retro setaposts - any quality ones made?

True - I'm renovating a skip found Scott Timber from 1992 (check out that biopace Shimano 100GS groupset!) into a singlespeed for my girl. Looks like it will have to be USE... Anyone got one for sale? Ian

    Dynatech racer

Hmmm, I was interested too but not so sure now... The 1984 was aparently taken from the frame number and clearly wrong! What are the differences between ti and steel in terms of frame butting and cables stops then? And does the fact it seems to say 505 on the top tube mean anything? ian

Syncros topcap; 25.8 seatpost; cool flat bars

Wanted: 1 - sloped syncros topcap to fit old (first generation?) syncros ahead stem with sloping top. 2 - 25.8mm seatpost - preferably no layback, longish and silver/ti (syncros would be ideal but not sure if they were made in this size) 3 - flat bars - ti, or polished silver/black/dark...

25.8mm retro setaposts - any quality ones made?

Has anyone heard of a decent quality (pimpy or semi-pimpy!) 25,8mm seatpost? Ideally no layback, decent length and in silver - a syncros polished ally or ti would be perfect! If not - what else is available? Lots of hits for Kalloy on google and not much else! If anyone has one for sale I'd be...

Raleigh dynatech - is this really ti?

I'm having trouble working out which dynatech models were ti and which not. Did a google search, got some info from here (!) but the link to german catologue scans of a 91 raleigh cat didn't want to work...The bits on this bike are really low end, there appears to be rust on the headtube, it's a...

    Syncros angled stem caps

Are these all the same? There is one advertised on chainreactioncyles but it says they are for the hinged stems - I want one to fit on an old cattlehead stem with the two bolt non-hinged bar clamp. Will it fit? http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Mode ... delID=5359 Alternatively, anyone...

    Manitou 3 refurbishment project

Hmmm, so I want to fit a retro fork to the front of my girls 'secret' SS project bike (i found it by the side of the road a few days ago and will get it mostly sorted while she's away on business). Nothing special, a steel Scott, low end, from the early 90's, but I digress... I've got two...

Carbon Titec (Xwing)? setapost clamp troubles...

Messiah - hold the pics, I think I've sorted it! Was attempting to use two knurled bolts and two T pieces as that was what I had, and it obviously didn't work. Now with one of each and the addition of an allen bolt, it all seems good to go. Thanks for the advice, it's been bugging me for ages...

Carbon Titec (Xwing)? setapost clamp troubles...

Hi - photos would be superb! I suspect that I've got too many of some parts and not enough of the correct ones - there are two complete sets of clamps with the post, two knurled bolts, and two of the threaded 'T' shaped nuts, so I've been trying to put these all together! So it should be just...
