Hey, based in Europe (Belgium), bought this 7 or 8 years ago, been sitting dormant in the garage. 90% original (LX gears, etc), different stem and saddle. A few rust spots, and the usual scratches. It doesn't have the original grey umma-gumma's, but was given a pair of IRC Mythos XC kevlar 1.95...

Shameless plug for my own listing Frame is fairly scratched and scuffed, but works fine. Handmade in the US too. Issue with the Cook Bros ranks, would need special attention to get them removed. Good for parts or as a project. Listed on ebay.de but will ship to UK/France for 16 euros - doesn't...

Picked up a Stumpjumper M2 frame with a pair of fairly worn Cook Bros cranks Was in the process of removing cap on drive-side (pictured), had to apply a good bit of force (anti-clockwise), then very unpleasant feeling as the allen key completely gave way As you can see, it's basically circular...

He wanted about 150 euros for the above bike, I thought it was too much Looked bad in the flesh, was a small dent in the down tube, the paint job is ugly and whilst it was smattered with good components (XTR Synchros) it just felt very very used Am getting fussy in my old age

I have one 16.5 lbs with no front suspension - budget was about 700 quid (a lot of second hand stuff and cheap carbon) Some German guy had a bike down to between 13 and 14 lbs

Wanted - a one inch ahead stem preferably in silver, as short as possible thanks

Thanks Just checked the serial number - which starts with 2003, so seems to be the year alright

Just picked this up, tried online but can't pinpoint which year it is (plus I don't know too much about "modern" mountain bikes) Easton Ultalite FS, V-brake and disc brake mounts, ST3 Any ideas?
