    My Marin

Cool! At least I know now. Might be trading it for an Orange P7, depends on what I am offered for it.... and if I can talk the guy down from £200 which looks a bit much - as the frame is corroded and I am not sure it has the original running gear on it....

Yes you are right about my name, it does mean I waste some of my Saturdays following Brighton. So the P7 for £200 could be a good buy then?? How much do you reckon it would cost to re do the clearcoat on the frame? Did I read that they came with deore LX as std originally?? BTW here is...

    New retro

Hey Anthony thanks for that, some really useful info there. Went to my local 2nd hand bike shop at lunhctime and they had an orange P7 looked to be 19" maybe slightly bigger frame. Gears etc looked really shabby though and the frame was some kind of brushed metal finish which had quite a bit...

    New retro

I really fancy getting back in the saddle and ideally would like to do it on something retro. I already own an old Marin - not sure which model, black with lumo yellow accents, back trianlge "afterburners" etc. Don't think it is all that good and more importantly it is not actually that nice a...

    Hello!

Had a bit of a flashback about the bike and I think actually it had DX shifters "piano keys"

Kirk Revolution, then and now 7/11/10

A friend of mine had 2 of these, the first one broke when jumping it in an old sand pit. You could buy them from Freemans catalogue for about £1.50PW over 100 years!

    Hello!

Firstly just want to say what a great forum, I cam e across it whilst doing some research into Klein Attitude's. I really want a '90 - a rich kid at school had one when they were brand new, loved them then, nostalgia now makes me want one even more - and it is only now some 18 years later I...
