is the paint in a can or a spray bomb? I’d be into the paint if it’s just in a regular can, as I don’t think you can ship pressurized stuff internationally…;)

nice bike/thread - I recently grabbed an 18” for a song off the dreaded FB marketplace, but am having some logistics issues in getting it up to where I’m at, sadly.

yep, completely agree - hasn’t been anything remotely special about a Kona bicycle in a very long time. that being said, it’s gonna be sad to see them gone. but from what I’ve heard, they aren’t completely dead just yet. time will tell.

just grabbed a more “appropriate looking” set of turbine lp’s, as the red didn’t match all that well & will look much better on the blue ‘98 Explosif frame anyhow. man, this thing is really starting to come together nicely, imo. stay tuned, folks…;)

because heavy, ugly & expensive. maybe 10 or so years down the road when all the bugs are ironed out & my body starts constantly reminding me that maybe they aren't so bad after all...

also, are “interloc” seat posts any good? am assuming it will do what it’s supposed to, but I’ve never heard of an interloc anything before…

ok, I was gifted a mid ‘90’s RM fusion w/an LX groupset. there has been a few mods to it here and there, including a Judy XL, GT stem & Ritchey bars. def. more $$$ to be made by parting it out, for sure. I would sell it complete to someone on here, but shipping a bike across the pond would cost...

also, if I haven't said it before I'll say it now : you guys are great. the pool of knowledge on this forum never ceases to amaze me.

I've found dropper posts to be a pretty sweet advancement - especially on a hardtail.

pretty much anything that doesn't say "Kona" on the downtube & "Explosif" on the top tube. :cool:
