Muddy Fox Courier Mega, info on this model

That doesn't happen to be fluorescent pink? If it is then the bike is from 89/90 and it had either 500LX or DX Shimano components on it. I used to have the fluorescent green Courier Comp and that was shod with Griptrax tyres and 400LX bits. Simon.

Kirk Precision (unique 80s spray job)

Hi, just picked up this (and another white one) over the weekend. Even though it's bright pink, the photos don't do it justice - probably because my digital is struggling with the brightness of the frame. It was sprayed fluorescent pink for a trade show in Milan, so it's pretty unique. More...

    Kirk Scrap Mountain

Hi, The MTB should have had standard chainstays, although it looks better with the E-stays. Plus, there was a rush to get the MTB to market, which didn't help solve some of the early problems the frame had. Anyway, the frame has two insert panels, one on the back of the seat tube and one...

    Kirk Scrap Mountain

I've recently updated my Kirk website with loads of pics from the factory (in the History section), including some from a staff noticeboard showing a huge pile of scrap MTB frames. Also, in the Brochures section there are some promotional flyers used to sell the bikes in the States. Anyway...

    [1994?] Red Kirk - Good condition - and Cook's E spares

Hi, It's another one of those questions I need to ask Frank Kirk, as the serial numbers seem to go backwards, but he's too busy at the moment. My original Kirk MTB didn't have the frame break mods and the number was L103096 and I've been helping another Kirk owner get his on the road and his...

    New project required...

Hi, After 6 weeks I've finally finished my Kirk project and I'm really pleased with the results. After the first ride I noticed that the decals I printed up aren't going to last, so I need to toughen them up. I probably didn't let them dry long enough before taking it out for a spin, but...

    [1994?] Red Kirk - Good condition - and Cook's E spares

Hello David, That's a clean looking Kirk, has your Dad owned it from new and did he buy it in Germany? I've got a website on Kirk Bicycles and a few red Kirks have appeared, but they were never sold here. Some have old Kirk Precision stickers and it's a shame yours is missing them, are there...

    Kirk Rebuild

Hi, I've added a few sneak peak pics of my Kirk rebuild, with Mavic Crossride and Amp Research forks. Once the new stickers go on, it's going to look wicked! Plus there are now some pics of the Kirk factory and the machinery they used to cast the bikes. There's an interesting frame in the...

    MBA Mags

Hello Scant, Could you check to see if any of the earlier mags (upto 1993) have any reviews or adverts of Kirk bikes? Thanks. Simon.

    Old magazines

Hi, Thought it was about time I registered on this site, after having spoken to a few of you via my Kirk website. I've just uploaded some original Kirk Precision brochures, as well as a nice pic of a Kirk Precision MTB. Anyway, I'm still missing all the reviews that the Kirk bikes received...
