Early 90´s for sure. We all wished for suspension forks, but still only raced with rigid forks because suspension made us loose power :? :lol: . Flourescent Bell Image helmet with matching Sidi socks.

The Muirwoods was black with fluo yellow fork, stem and rear triangle(early 90´s). But there was a previous Eldridge Grade that was fully yellow Flou.

How much for the frame?

Fastest I´ve done so far off road is 79.4km/h which is about 49mph using 44/11 and spinning until I just couldn´t rev up any more. I´m still aiming for 80km/h, hopefully soon. :wink:

Yes, for sure. I´ve used it for years, even with 9 speed chains. If you hear 7 clicks you can use an 8 speed cassette. You can use a 11-28 or a 11-30 without any problem, make sure you keep your cables clean. It usually works better with a rear derailleur thats got a strong spring, like road...

The SUGINO were trued by tightening or loosening the screws from the inside of the rim. I suppose it´s the same.

I remember an article of the SE2000 on spanish "Solo Bici" magazine, it was said to be the first full suspension mtb built in big series (I think it´s the right word), not a one off. Black frame with green swingarm.

markmacmonkey, get those Manitou off and put the Pepperonni forks back on. Cannondale´s are the best.

Lycra short with shaved legs and baggies with hairy legs. I can´t stand hair with cycling shorts but I guess it all depends on how hairy you are.

Camelback for drinking and water bottle also, for pouring over my head. That´s what it´s like living in the south of Spain. :lol:
