I used to have one a long time ago, love it. I plan on making some big improvement with age related products. I bought it as my 12 year old wants to give cycling a go. So its a good way to get out with him. TBH I think I will really get the bug back.

I am awaiting a delivery of a Raleigh Criterium Triathlon 12. All looks original with the exception of rear freewheel which is a 5 speed instead of a 6 and the fact it has no decals. Now I know this isn't a top end bike and has no real prestige as a retro bike but, I have a lot of fond memories...

Re: Unstable bike or unstable rider - you decide!! UPDATED Q Yes it can. An incorrectly adjusted headset or worn head bearings can also contribute. Check tyre pressures as well.

Here is my work horse. It has an issue with the gears at the moment which I need to sort. The Voodoo will soon be sharing the load with this retro Raleigh. And I use my favourite toy on a Tuesday.

Re: Unstable bike or unstable rider - you decide!!! I had a problem like this and it was the headset that required a little tightening. If it was pulling to one side I would have said bent forks. Also check wheel bearings and cones aren't loose.

Now that is funny. Have to say I hate those prats that run along side the riders especially when they really close.

If this was old style retro bike from the 80's or earlier I would have said no it isn't big enough. As it's a newer style bike I would say it is big enough. The angle of the photo doesn't help as it's difficult to tell if the top tube slopes down to the seat tube or is straight. Judging by the...

Friend of of mine has a Campag Mirage 8 speed rear mech (97/98 range) that has a snapped cable adjuster bolt. Unfortunately trying to source one locally is proving difficult. Any ideas guys? I know it isn't very retro but the guy is off the road because of that one bit.
