Ha @ Fad! Would be very interested in trying a 29er, although am quite short 5ft 8ish and was led to believe that they don't scale down in size well, with compromises in geometry/reach/overlap etc, happy to be proved wrong though.

Re: scott carbon if you have one please read thanks Newer 2011 onwards Scott Scales have a 34.9 Front Mech, earlier were 38.2 which only SRAM do in the XX model, most Scott's prior to 2011 used the E type BB mounted mech to get round this.
