A project I'm reluctantly going to have to accept that I won't get around to starting, let alone finishing. The frame is in excellent condition, although no decals and complete with forks and the rather collectable Girvin Flexstem. I'll be glad of the space, so I'm not looking for any money for...

Is it me or is it a real shame that Raleigh only really got their geometry really sorted when it was too late? These Dynatechs looks sexy and menacing in equal measures whilst handling and ride quality is still up there with the best.

Very nice. The printed pattern design is so distinctive and timeless, they still look bang on the money.

That was one to avoid - I had one of those. The geometry was energy sapping and it was so badly designed, it wouldn't take any fatter than 1.75 tyres, due to poor clearance with the chainstays.

No flame graphics, just plain metallic Ruby and black against right GT logos etc.

I have a metallic ruby red 96 Karakoram - is this a bit of a rarity?
