Thanks for the bump. I wonder if the size is that much of an issue. I'm a little taller than average at 6' but hardly unusual at that. Is a 58cm frame bigger than would normally be used for someone of similar height?

I'm afraid I've come up short on the bars. I did find this as pictured, but not the bars themselves! In the unlikely event the shim is useful, you're welcome to it. I suppose it's possible the bars may yet be found and will of course let you know if so.
