Foz, my tyres are specialized turbos but are not tubs they are on mavic open 4 cd clincher rims, sorry can't help with tub question.

Foz, you don't say what colour your rims are but if they are anodised grey i wouldn't put black walls on them as it makes the wheels look 'heavy' as its hard to see where the rim stops and the tyre starts, a tan wall would highlight your nice mavic rims, even if your rims arent dark grey :? i...

Sad but probably worth more as parts :( I've just built an Alan, admittedly with nice components probably cost between £800-£900 but probably struggle to sell built bike for £600, noboby seems to want to pay big money(true value) for complete bikes, but will shell out to buy nice frame then...

Nice bikes 8) but in my eyes the ciocc wont look 'right' until you fit correct forks, its a lovely looking bike that deserves to look right, proper forks will correct geometry on frame angles and close gap between tyre and down tube, i reckon there's lots of forks on ebay that would do the job...

Me and my Dad just rebuilt a 1954 Flying Scot that had been lying in the loft for years and ive built an Alan, we stay in Livingston so if you want to bring your frame over and compare it to my Dads to try and work out what you've got your more than welcome :)

Hi Fred, frame size sounds ok, sure there are plenty sites to check frame size against your size, check frame is straight if not walk away, look for dents to tubes not the end of the world but would knock the price down, look for cracks around lugs and general condition of paint/decals. Ask if...
