The video is rubbish. I'll try to mock up some kind of mount to make it clearer, but I think the issue is already highlighted.... No response from Pace Cycles earlier so if someone else knows where to source the pace collars, I would be very grateful.

Have sent an email to "Pace Cycles" who came up on google as dealing in this thing and hoping they can help me. Going to be demoralising taking apart the headset again..... Although in theory I can just take out the fork, fit the collar, then reinsert it. We shall see.

The cups are definitely snugly on. I didn't get the pace race collar, but the bottom end once I'd removed the last part of the FSA set, fitted snugly, so I didn't think there was a problem, or a part needed. Movement is occurring at top and bottom though. I can see movement in both cups.

There was quite a decent gap there, and I pushed the stem assembly well down so everything was pushed together. I had to use a good amount of spacers though. You can see them in black in the video. I will try and verify where the movement is cocurring but to me it seems equal movement/wear at...

That must be a photoshop no? Looks to be only one fork on each front wheel, and there looks to be front brake cable disappearing into thin air. Nice idea though, but I reckon would not be an easy build.

Well, after some serious headset faffing about (I still think there is a tiny bit of play in the one I got off this forum, but shall see how it plays out) I have the bike in a state where well... it kind of looks like a bike. Refurbed shocker fitted and now front headset area sorted out...

After racking my brain, found the FSA stuff in a little box, so have used the spacers to achieve what I needed. Luckily for me I was able to use the Dane Creek stem top with the old FSA ti-stem grippy thingy, so thats all good now too. Shall update my resto thread with a fresh current pic...

OK - good news is I found the issue LOL. Basically what I thought was part of the Pace fork was actually a bodged in bit of the FSA headset. Looked to have been glued in with polyurethane black gunk.... Anyway, got that off and now the headset is totally pukka. Only thing is now, I need to...
