    Raleigh Mustang Resto

If I remember correctly, that was the 5 speed one in the first issue range, then there was this one (15 speed), the top of the range was 21 speed, a burgundy colour, quite a nice bike really.

    Work bikes

Here´s my Bianchi, in a place called Tizayuca, Hidalgo, just north of Mexico City. Strangely enough, you can buy pasties in the town, they were bought over by Cornish miners about 120 years ago.

    titec bars

I´m not a metarlugist nor nuttin, but I read somewhere that Ti actually becomes stronger after exposure to loads of stress cycles, the limiting factor is the quality of the welds, whicch don´t come into play here. So assuming your ti bar hasn´t been bent, it should be stronger than a new one...

The design of it may have been modelled on Paul opening his mouth and showing his tonsils, dunno, trying to give this reputable ebay seller a break innit

What were the first suspension forks that actually worked?

That would be the original Rockshox design that had the Bontrager crown, I never had one, but they were widely used and approved by the pro´s in cross country and downhill, pretty good field testing.

    Fat Chance Titanium TFM006

Time to stick my spoon in on the all important fork debate..... I don´t think those Tange forks are worthy of the frame, the plastic caps remind me of Tange struts, and then the horrendous Tange suspension fork... dunno, might be because everything is so top of the range, the fork just sticks...

AMP B4 Mercedes Benz Special Edition

BB height looks normal to me... Strangely enough, I saw an identical bike on my way to work this morning, particuarly bizarre considering the normal low level of stuff I normally see.

Fat Chance Yo Eddy 97. Pic heavy mega update

The latex trick is per this article, towards the end: http://wheelfanatyk.blogspot.com/2007/0 ... ained.html Take note, don't attempt using vulcanising cement, it will destroy the tyre. If you're asking yourself where you get latex in solution, what I did is to do a search on latex...

Fat Chance Yo Eddy 97. Pic heavy mega update

A roadie tip from looking after delicate tubular tyres is using latex solution applied with a brush. Nice bike!

    NAME THAT FRAME!!!

They were built by Greg Fuquay, an American guy that arrived in the UK with the USAAF as a welder on the plane bits at RAF Bentwaters (demobilised since about 1990) I believe, he had previously built for Serotta, and set up a workshop in Chattisham near Ipswich, the last I heard Chips...

my former bosses bates single speed fixed road bike

Lovely bike, apart from the forks, the main triangle tubing was a special spec, the diameter increases in the middle, which should make it resist torsion better.
