Paul Brake lever lookalikes - sort of

Aluminium Brake levers for canti's only i would imagine. No maker's marks obvious to me on them. 129grams or so for the pair inc. fixing screws. No springs involved, all lever movement from the the canti's or the rider. Seem to have misplaced the adjusted grub screws, but will come with fixing...

    Dekerf Solitaire

Yup, before i sold my RC31s they did get a trial on this stead. Wrists did not appreciate the combination of carbon only "suspension" and "horses have been here" rutted trails. It's light enough, sub 20lbs. There is A patch, only one place a cable gets near the paint.

Just managed to find the auction. Last night i was clearly suffering from The Dumb. Buyer said that he had bought it new; 1000+ seller on ebay, based in Canterbury. No sticker residue, though that doesn't mean much. A possible coincidence... or just selling up. Would not have said it had...

    Dekerf Solitaire

It is a '99 i think, but i have not really tried to find out. Does appear to be a discontinued colour; Pea Green i think was on the auction, but not had to ask for a touch up yet. I like the colour now, but at the time i would have bought it in any colour. Too much, possibly, was £270...

    Dekerf Solitaire

Ok, so not strictly retro, but getting there. I helped along the retro feel with the build. Frame fitted the bill perfectly. Skinny enough steel tubes, horizontal dropouts, V-brake only, and a bit rarer than On One and most other affordable single speed frames. Obviously from Ebay, possibly...

    Early SID question

To quote the Angry Asian: "Absolutely DO NOT use a standard "football needle" as stated in the Rock Shox manual. These types of needles have a hole in both the tip and the side. The hole on the side usually has sharp edges that will tear your air valve and create a leak in the system. Be sure...

    Giant original carbon fibre frame

Does seems a bit much, but if you splashed that much on a respray........ One that looked about the same reached £260 about a month ago on ebay. Sold mine, non painted cable guides, no £150 spray job, for £160. Coating does look pretty thick. Mine would not go that flat or shiny. Even with...

    RaceFace Turbines Red - SOLD

As per pictures. As always, won them on the bay, then found some silver ones that i'd really been after all along. Anyway. Square Taper. 175mm. Compact rings. I do have the spacers and long inner bolts. The pictures tell the story, they have been used, but they are still pretty nice. I'll...

    Giant MCM Team Frame

Just the frame. Medium MCM, see thread in Reader's bikes. Has had a fresh coat of lacquer and most paint runs removed. Things to note - one bottle cage bolt of the seat tube set is stuck. Needs to use e-type bottom bracket secured front mech. Not sure what i am asking for .Saw a...

From the catalogues http://www.konaretro.com/articles/catalogues/1994/8.jpg This page says: Hay Hay Whether that is correct Hawaiian, who knows, but it's phonetically how Kona named their stead.
