Hi guys, picked a new bike up last week and it's all perfect bar on the smallest cogs the chain seems to catch on the inside of the big cog, this is literally by <3mm and makes the chain want to jump up on to the big cog. Having a bit of a read and have found some people put spacers in between...

Hi guys i'm more of a road biker but do a lot of trail running and the bikers seem to have a lot of fun on the trails so thought I would give a go ;) Looking for a cheap rolling project, good frame, naff everything else so I can give it a go. Located near Blackburn.

Cheers for the reply, it does have steel rims and the guy from the bike shop said the only thing letting it down was the steel wheels so they maybe the issue. Will take a look and have a go at tightening them before I shell out on anything, cheers :)
