Yes, the paint confuses the hell out of the iPhone camera, makes it way more red than it is in the flesh. The paint seems to have a lot of pigment depth as it appears very different colours under certain light. I’ll have to have a go at capturing it with a proper SLR.

Close - I went Nitto Albatross, reasoning being I have a straight bar’d xc bike in my Equipe, an alt bar’d bikepacking bike in my Lava Dome, a bullmoose bar’d utility bike in my Cinder Cone. This will be my slightly orthopaedic bar’d offroad tourer / randonneur thing.
