Re: Fair warning that as nice looking as the early fillet brazed Jamis bikes are, they also tend to break at the seat tube / seat stay junction. Been there, done that... twice! :oops:

Re: SweetSpots very much benefit from running an Interloc TL5 fork, or some other form of offset compensating front suspension, up front. Otherwise the rear end tends to load and catapult the rider when paired with a telescoping front suspension unit. I can stand witness to all parts of that...

I've recently acquires a 1995 Breezer Beamer frame and fork and would very much like to find the complementing Softride Suspension Stem to fit to it. I'll consider any 1 1/8" Ahead-type Softride stem, but it would be nice to get my hands on the naked aluminum model like the one pictured below:
