Had a couple of rigid Inbreds (26 and 29), now on a rigid Scandal 29er with Exotic Carbon Forks, I use this as my low maintenance winter MTB with gears (have run SS and Alfine in the past). Rides pretty similar to an Inbred without the weight penalty.
