Hey, thanks for the reply! I’ve got a Thomson 100mm 31.8 in black, and a Thomson 90mm 31.8 also in black for trade if that suits? Let me know, otherwise would really appreciate sending you cash for these. Cheers!

    1989 Specialized Stumpjumper

Stunning frame and build! Love the choice of components too ;) Is there a reason for the CSS rim on the rear, and plain machined alloy on the front, other than availability? It’s a shame the CSS rims have been discontinued, it’s a great feature. Mine have zero wear after thousands of all-season...

It's got a 1" head tube, but it was JIS-sized from the factory, making headset choice very difficult as the fork crown seat is ISO-sized. I had the head tube reamed to ISO inner diameter so that I could use a standard CK 1" headset and crown race. Damn, that's a very good price if it came with...

    Specialized Stumpjumper 1982

Incredible piece of history you've got here! Love that the 'build' consisted of having the bike handed down to you and that all the bits are original.

1991 Stumpjumper Comp, NOS Frame & Fork

Thanks! The thought of getting lynched on here for 'resto-modding' a NOS frame like this did cross my mind, so your appreciation is much appreciated. This 11-speed cassette has 'MTB' cog spacing, so will fit on any 8-speed onwards freehub. It's turned out to be a perfect cushy cruiser, the...

1991 Stumpjumper Comp, NOS Frame & Fork

I think the front might reach but no chance on the rear unless the bosses are moved. A pair of sliding adjustable V-brakes like the Paul Motolites would do the trick for you. Although I’d stick to 26”; what makes you want to swap?
