    Christmas tree question

Cor blimey - I have the attention span of a gnat there's no way I'll sort out big/large baubles and then colour sequences. :D Our aforementioned Arthritic Cat can't reach anything above 6 inches so I always put unbreakable stuff on the bottom of the tree. What's lametta? (sorry - am I bring...

    Christmas tree question

OK, we have lights & baubles, ate the chocolate then got bored and left the tinsel in the bag. Looks alright though :xmas-cool: Our ancient cat (Sprocket) is now looking at the tree and trying to decide whether she can be bothered to knock seven bells out of the baubles with an arthritic paw. :?

I'm with HM on this :D Must admit, we have the decs up which is about 2 weeks earlier than normal - we aren't usually this organised. The decs always come down by 12th night cos it's my birthday and I don't like to share. I've never heard of 12 days before Christmas though. Whatever...

    Ski/snowbaord plans this season?

We were booked to go back to Tignes for a week snowboarding in January. Sadly had to cancel because of the broken bone in Andy's back. Deposit lost as deemed to be pre-existing condition. Specialist almost passed out when we asked if snowboarding was out of the question. Can...

    Wind!

Yesterday was one of those days when I wish Andy had a nice office job instead of being an HGV driver. Two trips over the Ouse Bridge on the M62 with various vehicles lying on their side just cannot be good for the nerves.

Death penalty in the UK, yes or no???

In extreme cases such as Lee Rigby's murderers, I firmly believe a case can be put for the death penalty. What other punishment can there be for people like that? And what other deterrent can there be to stop other people going round acting in the same manner? These two will go to prison - but...

Support London's cyclists TfL DIE IN

Having ridden motorcycles as well as cycles over many years, I have long since wanted car drivers to experience what it is like to be on a bike (motorised or otherwise) as part of the learning to drive process. I now reckon awareness right across the board could be improved through experience...

    "Die in"

Having visited Cambridge a couple of times (not in a car), I would certainly believe that cycle riders pull stupid stunts. It seemed to me that in Cambridge the cycle rules and, in the city centre, pedestrians are very much at the mercy of the cycle riders. Despite it being an interesting and...
