SWAP Raleigh Dynatech 700 for something in steel more audaxy

I have one of the above in a 56. What I would like to do is to have something less race focussed and more audax focussed, take guards etc. Its in good nick with all the original bits and I would like to swap for say a Roberts, or Mercian and cash your way to balance. PM me if you have...

    dynatech 700 - hub width

I have the above bike and am wondering what size hubs I can run in them. On my Ciocc I had spread the rear triangle to run modern 130 hubs - can I do the same with the dynatech, as I am worried I will break the bonding on the lugs. thanks

Full bike - english audax -- mercian or roberts

I really fancy a Roberts or Mercian in perferably audax guise so I can use mudguards. I dont mind a modern retro-modern build but would like the bike to be in good condition, so anything needing a repaint is probably not suitable. I like in NW London so something of a 50 miles works for me...

    dynatech 700 advice to ss

I have got one of the above bikes and am thinking of running it as a single speed just for winter commuting. I have some modern wheels I can use on it (although I am not sure I can run guards and 25c for winter) - my question is can I run 130mm hubs or am I better off sticking with what I have...

Hood for Campagnolo 88 aero levers

I have the above levers on my 88 Ciocc. However the hoods are splitting. These are the aero levers in the sense that the brake lines run under the bar tape. I am not too bothered about getting the exact campag stuff as this is my daily commuter but it would be nice to get a set of good quality...

Making a boardman pro 26 more lively

I have just been getting into offroading but the 2010 does not feel so lively as I expected. I am running the standard 2.2 mountain kings and the overall bike is light. Is it more my expectations or is it a case of n+1? thanks

Thomson like seatpost 27.2 inline black preferably, 300mm +

I need to get my saddle forward and all my posts are setback. I would like a thomson or thomson like post (with the fitting that allows setting of the angle tilt) As I am not too fussed at the moment as I may not need it, but would like to have it to hand for my bike fit. thanks
