My two favorite materials for vintage mountain bikes. Any plans for a "composite" month that combine the two (or aluminum/steel, steel/carbon, etc.)?

Re: Another one coming. Unicorn level Alpinestars... I like that plan - evolve the build over time to reflect the greats of the day. And I'm on the lookout for the Ti stuff mentioned above and the carbon bars if you happen upon some and say "Nah, I don't need or want them".

Wore mine aboard my Tomac Sig at the Keyesville Classic Race in 2014 (along with Oakleys and a Bell Image helmet)!

I didn't enter my Ti-Mega this month as I like that Al-Mega so much.

I've seen that Merlin up close and personal and the details - which are tough to appreciate in the photo - make it a worthy choice.
